I love Elizabeth Warren.
She is a beast and I adore her. Also, what she’s saying and the WAY she says it throughout this interview is so important to listen to. The arguments on the Democratic side are about how best to make progress, the most assured way forward. The goals are the same and the distinction between methods is a matter of degrees.
And, of course, the key point that each Democratic candidate, even on their worst day, is 10000% better than the alternative.
It might be worth taking the “I side with” politics quiz. Unsurprising: I’m a 99% match with Sanders. Surprising: I’m a 100% match with Clinton.
Yeah, but be sure to check the lists of answers- they sometimes count you as agreeing if you have a “similar enough” answer. And, look at the bottom of each list, where it shows you in what ways you disagreed- I’d really rate you as being about even on both candidates from what I saw.
Oh, sure, but the fact that Clinton jumped up so high is interesting to me anyway. Previously I think she was at like 94%?
The way they handle nuance is pretty bad though, yeah. The place where I disagree with Sanders is really an agreement (because the flaw in Common Core is that it doesn’t handle individual needs particularly well!) and it counted a “yes, but” as an agreement with Clinton’s simple “yes.”
Still, either one of them is way better of a match than any Republican out there, and even with the fuzzy matching it’s worth seeing these results so that you can realize that mmmmmaybe it shouldn’t be #BernieOrBust.
